At Riverside, we understand the families often need ‘wraparound’ care for their children before and after school hours.
Breakfast and Twilight Club is held in the middle block, in between Red and Blue buildings. Children will be let in/dismissed through the rear door by the carpark.
If your child is attending either Breakfast and/or Twilight club, please ensure that you have booked this via ParentPay in advance. Payments not made within 24 hours are automatically cancelled, and therefore will not be booked in.
If you are paying using tax free childcare vouchers please email admin@riverside.essex.sch.uk to book your child(ren) in.
We offer a ‘Breakfast’ club, which runs from 7.30am daily and is run by school staff. We supply a breakfast with choices of toast, crumpets, cereal and fruit as well as water, milk or fruit juice to drink. Whilst at the club, your child can take part in many different activities.
When it is time for registration, your child will be accompanied by an adult and taken to their class. The cost for our breakfast club is £6.00 per session.
We also provide an after school ‘Twilight Club’ which is also run by staff from within school, that runs from the end of the school day until 5pm costing £7.50 per session.
Children are taken to Twilight club by their class teacher. They then get a healthy snack and drink.
If you are running late picking up your child, please ring the main school number (01702 230911) and select Twilight Club option, to talk to a member of the Twilight staff.
The late fee in £10 per 15 minutes late. This is to cover the costs of staff overtime, for which we do not have the funds in the school budget.
24 hours notice is required to cancel Twilight Club, otherwise you will still be charged for the session.
